"Andrea Lawrence is a very rude and unprofessional person. I will never do business with her again. I also do not recommend. Andrea has prepared taxes for my business and family for the past 2020 and 2021 tax year. Both times she has taken about 5 or more months to complete and file our taxes. She expects most of the payment up front, then proceeds to take her time to do the work. For the 2022 year tax I contacted Andrea to prepare once again only this time she wanted an extra $1,200 (for bookkeeping) on top of other tax prep fees, to prepare our taxes, which required the same work she has provided for the 2 prior years. I reached out to let her know I would do my own bookkeeping, and I just wanted her to prepare the taxes. Her response was, in her words "You've already tried to file the taxes and failed". She also threw in my face how much tax penalties we have incurred filing late, like we don't already know that. Andrea is bad for any business if you go against lining her pockets. Such unprofessionalism. If I could give a negative 5 star I would. UPDATE: For your info Ms. Lawrence I never “tried” to file any taxes. I only told you that so I could try to get my taxes done, since I did not take the time to find a more dependable tax preparer. Like you said I did not want your horrible services anymore but since you already had done them before I decided to go back and ask by saying telling you I tried but failed. Jokes on you. You continue to give insults when I never tried to do my own taxes. There was never an extension submitted. I fired you in December of 2022, when you called to get my documents for the upcoming tax season. Unless you already knew you were going to take your usual 6 months again I can see why you would file an extension before tax season began. Now you are just lying to save face. No need to worry about the fees I have to pay. Just as you said “I” will have to pay so move on. Paying those fees won’t break my bank Ms. Lawrence. I know about the fees and chose to be okay with it. Again you are rude, and as I can tell from previous reviews you always have an excuse for your short comings and rude behavior. Good luck to you with your bad business."

"HER LATEST BUSINESS PRACTICES IN 2023 / Cursed me out bc I kept asking her for copies of an amended tax return which she got paid to do months ago. She asks for payments in advance and then gets mad when you ask questions, she takes months to do anything even respond to a Text. Had to call her from fake numbers for her to answer my calls. Lied about paid amended taxes. Always made my taxes late. Never filed taxes extensions nor sent invoices to start my 2022 so she can then come with the excuse of you never sent payment to me so therefore I didn’t have to do anything, she has no communication with you to her advantage so she can recruit more clients and then can’t keep up with them. after she establishes business with you, only at the beginning she’s very reachable, after that you’re going to be ignored. she’s extremely unprofessional, irresponsible, terrible at keeping her word, she doesn’t care about keeping things professional. I paid her to do a 2016 & 2017 amendment and she never did it, then gets mad when I ask her for copies or questions bc I called the IRS and they said she never filed it. This is a terrible accountant, which I would never recommend to anyone! I regret doing business with her."
