"The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with information about local restaurants and attractions. Our room was clean and smelled good. We did not have an opportunity to use the pool, but it looked clean and well-maintained. This motel is within walking distance or many restaurants and attractions in St. Augustine, and they have information about the tourist shuttle services available nearby."

"We decided to take an unplanned trip to Saint Augustine after the gator bowl. We had nowhere to stay when we came and after a Google search, found Travelodge. We went there to check it out before reserving and found the front desk personnel to be very nice. She recommended us seeing the lights downtown and was very helpful. We stayed in a cottage, which was private. It was simple, but clean, and it felt safe. I would highly recommend this for a couple or small family, that’s on a short stay."

"We had a good stay here at travel lodge we got the King suite which was very roomy. the bed was a large king the room was good for what we basically needed to sleep and shower. We were just 10 min to downtown. The room was clean and did not have a musty smell which is a plus for me. It is not super fancy so if that’s what you’re looking for then this isn’t the place. For the price and location it was good for us. Also it had a small little living room that had a mini fridge and microwave and ice bucket which they provide ice by the soda machine right by the office. Staff was friendly.Hope this was helpful."

"This is a well maintained older hotel. The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. The floors in my room were tile and not old rugs. The pool and property were clean and well maintained. The owners at the front desk could not have been more friendly and helpful. Best of all.. The location is great, and the cost is reasonable. It's just off the beaten path in a quiet location. It is in close proximity to everything. There's a shuttle that leaves from across the street and runs to midnight. What more could you ask for? Personally, I was very satisfied with my stay."

"Hi travelers please beware this hotels old should be closed . The pictures fake on line , fraud. The staff rude waste of my time rude to Veterans. Foreign run . Please don't stay at this Travelodge. Had reservations they insist on cash deposit and said at checkout if you appear out at 11:01 am they will keep your deposit. Very rude and very old looking in person, hopefully my friend a Military Veteran got his full return , I had sprained my ankle and was in need of resting instead we were made to leave upon questioning why online the property looked better than in person.. Southern Oaks Inn was the right move beautiful accommodations nice and friendly staff great breakfast included. Please be safe this Travelodge should be closed. God bless all travelers to find safe friendly affordable accommodations. Psalm 119. Now the owners corrected the pictures with more of an accurate look. Thank you however it's false there was no bad behavior ever , the question was why did the pool appear to be larger like an Olympic size when arrived found it tiny and property older than appearance in picture . ? We were then asked to find another hotel and with no notice had to last minute find suitable accommodations. It's poor customer service. Very poor to treat people this way ."
