"Dr. Michael and crew are the absolute best!!! They are skilled and compassionate. Do you have pain due to a cracked tooth? Dr. Michael can make that pain go away."
"Outstanding dentist!! I discovered Dr Michael while searching for a Bioclear bonding provider in my area (Ft Myers) to fill in the black triangles/spaces that commonly result from Invisalign orthodontic treatment. He was the closest provider I found which is a 1.5 - 2 hour drive away, but I was eager to get his opinion. It turned out to be well worth the few drives I've since made to see him. Not only did he point out things on my X-rays that my primary dentist missed, he also provided a very detailed second opinion regarding my gum recession and developed a treatment plan which has yielded beautiful results. I just had the Bioclear bonding done yesterday for the four "black triangles" on my front bottom teeth and I'm quite impressed with the results and Dr Michael's skill set. He truly is a master of his craft, highly innovative, professional and courteous - with skilled hygienists. The facility is clean, modern and everybody I encountered was very friendly. He may not be the cheapest in town (depending on your insurance) but he is well worth the extra investment, and even a longer drive if you live farther away. In fact, one of his hygienists mentioned yesterday that he has a couple patients who fly in from New York because they're so impressed with his work - now THAT speaks volumes. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Michael - he's one of the best in the industry."
"The earlier review by a person whose 91 year old mother was subjected to a deep cleaning shocks but does not surprise me. I was expecting a routine cleaning but was instead told of all the health and dental consequences should I not have a four quadrant deep cleaning ($1700).Having absolutely no symptoms of gum disease, and being older, I chose to see a peridontist who disagreed and who pointed out that I had pseudo-pockets caused by wisdom teeth that needed no treatment. I subsequently saw my dentist in Philladelphia who congratulated me on the health of my gums. Many years ago an older ENT physician asked me "How many sore throats do you think I have treated?" "None" he responded when I couldnt guess. "I treated patients, not sore throats." Dr Michael, when you elect to treat patients, not just gums and teeth, listening to their symptoms, concerns, priorities, financial state, then perhaps you'll be a better dentist. In my case, I would have been subjected to unnecessary discomfort and financial loss. An additional piece of advice. When I called, your manager, she became beligerent and told me that the law required you to do a deep cleaning. Clearly nonsense. I have literally written a book on health care communication and her behavior was inappropriate. She needs training in professional communication in dealing with a dissatisfied patient."
"Been going to him for years. A doctor that I have grown to trust. I tend to panic when it comes to going to the dentist but Dr. Michael has always taken great care of my teeth. 100% Recommend!"
"I took my 91 yr old mother to this Dr Hank Michaels office for a teeth cleaning. We were never explained the costs for a periodontal cleaning ahead of time. The dental assistant cleaned half of her mouth and cut off a tooth that had a crown on it. She went to get the dentist and he said oh we can fix that for you for $3200 after they broke it. When we went to the front desk to check out and they charged $500 for half her mouth cleaning. That would be $1000 for her entire mouth! Highway robbery! She goes to another dentist now who charges $120 for her entire mouth."
