"I only has 1 visit at Smile Design. They did an exam & xrays. Then showed me a treatment plan. I took a copy of plan to review & noticed that each procedure had 2 fees associated with it. I called back to find out why. I was told that there is a fee for those without insurance and another fee for those with insurance. The insurance fee is exorbitant and 50-80% higher than the other fee. Because I have a plan which reimburses fir a small amount of dental fees annually, I was charged almost $400 for the visit. It would have been $49 if no insurance were presented. I canceled my upcoming appointments because I feel this is exploitation and each patient should receive the same charge for services given. The initial visit was a 45 minute wait before being seen. Staff was generally kind and showed good customer service."

"**your response to my review is unnecessary. I understand the options you and the dentist gave. What you fail to comprehend and acknowledge is the work your dentist did, which is no longer with you... but that is no fault of mine. It has nothing to do with the time frame of having the crown put in. It also helps if you guys keep track of all appointments and what was done at them. You didn't listen to me at all and think you know everything. I had temp crowns yes...was it maybe longer than they should have been, maybe. When I got the crown, put it there was no mention of any issues then. Then, the permanent crowns fell out in 6 months. They then put them back in again. These two times were the permanent. When they came back out a year or so later for 2nd time, you had a new dentist. She told me these crowns were too small, and they should have pushed my gums back or something like that because these would never hold because they were too small. But you didn't want to hear any of it you wanted to continue to be rude and not empathetic telling me I was wrong and trying to act as if it was the temporary ones at first and so on and so forth. So spare me your attempt at saving face for the internet. I had been calling for years with no call back and no resolution. You are a mean cold-hearted person with no professionalism. Anyone who actually speaks with you, I am sure, feels the same. Please do NOT go here. They lack morals, professionalism, and empathy. I'm not sure if lack of education is an issue. Or they don't document everything because of their work ethics. This place basically robbed me and wants to take no accountability for the mess they made. When talking to whoever the manager is at the current moment, she is nothing short of rude and condescending. Lazy and unprofessional. I will be going to the BBB. You people should be ashamed of yourself. I can't believe you are still able to practice with all complaints to the BBB that are public. You"

"In September I made an appointment for Dec.5 to have a final fitting for a partial. But when I arrived, there was no record of this appointment. The staff did look in the back and finally found that, yes, there was a prototype in storage. They fitted me in but now it will be Jan. before I can have my finished plate. This process started in May! If I had known how many delays there would be, I might have looked elsewhere. . . How do you submit this review?! I don't want to give this even one star."

"I had a molar with a deep cavity. Doctor Gulati was able to save my tooth. I was fitted with a temp crown, which fit perfectly. I was able to chew as normal until I was fitted with my permanent crown. Kim assisted patiently with adjustments until the crown fit perfectly. I'm very happy with the results."
