"Thought this was going to be a professional and caring place. After 2 reschedules, 2 months out, and another for another month out, it was clear to me that I wasn't a valuable enough patient. I scheduled time off work to make the last appointment they called to, RESCHEDULE! Hopefully I'll find another dentist that cares about my time and my situation. THIS PLACE DOES NOT!"

"This practice is outstanding. My husband had a cracked molar on Sunday before a holiday. He was in pain. I left a message with 15+ dentist offices in the Gainesville and ocala area. University Family Dentistry was the only office to call back on Monday [holiday] with an appointment the next day. The office staff was warm, welcoming and efficient. This is the absolute best dental office I have ever been to. I am so lucky to have found them."

"NOT KID FRIENDLY. ABANDONED my treatment after 2 root canals and left me with two front temporary teeth. I had a good initial appt with a build up was told to get two root canals by dr dickens. Proceeded to do that, $1750 at the endodontic associates. After that was completed i called to schedule my appt for my crowns. Appt was set. Day of my appt i get a call saying I need a baby sitter or they cannot do my crowns. I proceeded to explain i am a single mother, working from home, with no option for day care at the moment, esp not in a few hours. Also i cannot afford a baby sitter for every dental appt. They refused to treat i left a review spoke with the office the next day they agreed to treat me. Then a week later i get a call saying because i left the review (that was taken down right away when they agreed to proceed to treat me) i am unable to get my crowns even though i took it down when they made the appt. Dr dickens refuses to treat me. Candace the assistant im assuming said she would set me up with their sister office. After waiting yet another week acter calling the office multiple times she tells me BASED on what SHE told the sister office they do not want to take me on as a patient. What was the point of offering to set me up with them if you are going to just leave such a horrible impression with them that they refuse to even see me. I called this morning to ask for the sister office so I can call myself and they claim they don’t know it. At this point i guess this is just a huge joke to them, meanwhile im stuck with insurance i got for their office, two temporary front teeth, and havibg to start from scratch. Not even a referall to a different office! Just abandoned entirely. What’s crazy is dr dickens was praising my daughters behavior saying how good she was for the appt (until like the last ten minutes when she got cranky) and how they love babies. Then after i spend almost two thousand and have two temporary front teeth (endodontist specifically said get crowns within a month because my front teeth are basically not usable they are temporry fillings.) i also got the specific discount insurance their office takes, got the pricing negotiated, and agreed upon which is why i proceeded in the first place. I have never in my life been treated so poorly and unprofessionally. This place is a disgrace. I would not wish this nightmare Im going theough on my worst enemy!"

"Nobody likes going to the dentist but I had to and I chose University Family Dentistry and glad I did! Tha staff was very nice and welcoming. The dentist was excellent and her tech was really cool. They were so patient with me. I highly suggest University Family Dentistry when ya gotta see a dentist!"
