"The worst!!! I currently have a boat policy with Geico and wanted to see about quoting everything else through them. I called and asked for quotes for a car, renters, personal items and umbrella policy as well as any discounts that would be applied to the boat. I was quoted for 2 of these policies, told I need needed to talk to corporate to get the other policy quoted and one policy was not quoted at all. When I transferred to corporate they told me they could only handle one of the policies and that I would need to talk to service to see about multiline discount on the boat. And since the renters wasn't quoted with a high enough liability limit I would have to go back and get that re-quoted as well. So basically it would require talking to 5 different people to get all this bolted on insurance sorted. With State Farm I just called the agent and gave them my insurance needs and they quoted it all out (most likely having to navigate a few different teams on the back end). Apparently with Geico it's on the customer to do all the heavy lifting. Guessing the claims process is fun when sh!t happens!! No thanks."
