"Just had a closing using Tushaar Desai, Esq. as our closer. He mishandled the closing paperwork for our notary. We had to reprint a new closing package it at the closing table because he used old amounts. Survey was ordered however I cancelled it. It's a town home. He called and told me my buyer's lender REQUIRED a survey and he re ordered it. Charged my buyers for it at closing BUT didn't include it in the paperwork. When called, from the closing table, he told me he was working on sending it to me asap. Also included in the closing papers was an affidavit for the buyers to sign about receiving the survey. They did not sign it. I told the listing agent about this and she called him after closing. He told her that he hadn't gotten it yet. Five days later, responding to an email from me about it, he wrote that it was never ordered. That it wasn't needed for a town home and oh by the way, he was holding the $450 from the buyer (for a survey that was required by the lender, oh, no it wasn't). Oh, what should he do with the funds? I also gave him a commission disbursement form weeks before closing and they wrote both commission checks, one to me and one to my Broker with the wrong amounts. I represented the buyer and had no choice in title companies. I would not recommend this company. I will not work with them again. Will pay to work with another title company myself."
