"We had shopped for months for the furniture color and style we wanted for our new coastal home but none of the new or consignment furniture stores had what we wanted. In February, we finally went up the the Unfinished Furniture Store in Sarasota, FL and found the style in exactly the right pieces but not the paint color. Mark recommended getting it custom painted by Dr Wood Furniture Repair in Punta Gorda, FL and then having it delivered to our home. We called Jeff at Dr Wood Furniture Repair and he said he can match any color, just tell him the brand and number of the paint chip color and could do it. I also said I didn't like the black hardware on the two sideboards and asked Jeff if he could paint the hardware silver for us. He said he could. The price he gave us was reasonable for his experience (He does custom cabinets for several builders around his area) so we struck a deal and I told him I had to have the furniture by October 25th because my husband's Momn and sisters would be arriving for a visit and to see our new home for the first time. Jeff was amazing. He sent iterim photos to check if I was happy with the color and was it what I was expecting, and he sent photos of the metal hardware he had stripped and painted to look like anodized aluminum which is exactly what we wanted. And he delivered all 9 pieces a day EARLY! I highly recommend Jeff to do your repair, refinishing, or finishing / painting , etc. We could not have been happier with the craftsmanship and the customer service. Thank you Jeff! I don't know what is wrong with Google, but it will not let me upload the photos of the finished furniture, but Jeff has them by email."

"We had a solid exotic wood dining room table and chairs that were damaged by Ian. Jeff restored it to be beautiful again. Jeff works alone and also had Ian damage to his workshop but he continued to do his craft. The dining set turned out great. The only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the length of time it took for completion. It could have been the same time frame with other refinishers in the area……if you could find one. Jeff is personable and reasonably priced."
