"After speaking with our insurance adjuster he suggested that we reach out to The Glasure Insurance company since they were the agent of record on our home policy. We were trying to accomplish a pretty simple task, just trying to find out the status of our claim. Apparently, that inquiry was too complicated for the agent of record to assist with. Immediately upon answering the phone, Betsy was hostile and aggressive. She continued to ask me who I was calling and how I got her number and why I was calling. On multiple occasions I kindly said that we had filed a claim and met with an insurance adjuster who recommended that we reach out to her office and ask if they could be of assistance. She said they could not be of assistance, which is completely fine, we understand that. All we were doing was following the instructions of the insurance adjuster. But she spoke to me in a very degrading way and tone. I apologized if we called her by mistake but you would think as the agent of record, who would have received commissions when signing up two policies, she would have some sort of interpersonal communication skills. A simple, I'm sorry the insurance adjuster gave you out number because that is something we don't handle. Perhaps even give us a suggestion as to what steps we should be taking? I don't think that is too much to ask. If you are seeking any insurance policies, I would highly recommend you stay away from this agency. Apparently they will sign up up to get paid and then treat you pretty terribly whenever you need to call and ask for help."
