"Mixed experience. I had an inexpensive cord hanger break that I had purchased 5 weeks ago and reported it yesterday 12/15/2023 and cashier made no comment and then refused any adjustment-said it was only to carry around electrical cords. The hanger had been holding a 75 foot cable in a storage cabinet. Very surprised. Generally they last forever.. I had gone in for a toggle switch, which they unfortunately did not stick. My previous experience was that they were very nice and helpful people. Great addition to the area."

"Visited this DG Ace Hardware on the morning of 12/07 to help my elderly parents with a few things, while in town visiting. I manage an Ace Hardware outside of Boston, Massachusetts, and so I do take extra interest in local Ace stores when I'm traveling. This store is beautiful - lots of space, great product selection, easy to navigate, and the sales people seemed friendly and helpful. We found the concrete anchors I needed easily, as well as a new garbage can, and some 2-part epoxy. I can't truly comment on prices, given I don't live in Sarasota, but what I would say is that I am happy to have paid what I did for the items I purchased. There's a time and place for Home Depot - especially if you're looking for building materials - but for all the hardware/paint items that can fit into a shopping cart, I believe this is by far the superior option. They also sell differentiators like Big Green Egg, Yeti, and Stihl outdoor power tools. Would highly recommend."
"Buyer beware! I went to buy something in the store and requested the price to be matched to their online price and the manager refused. The online pricing was not specific to online only - it clearly stated online you can purchase in the store. The price difference was $60. I try to support local businesses, but DG Ace Hardware has permanently lost my business."
