"We used Integrity Title as our title company for the purchase of our first home in 2016. Everything went really well and we were shocked how easy they made the process. However fast forward 3 years later, we received a letter from the property standards division from the city where we reside at notifying us that an open permit has expired and we would be getting fined for each day that it was expired until it was fixed. Come to find out, the title company failed to let us know there was an OPEN permit on the house that we purchased back in 2016. This is their responsibility to make sure there are no open permits pending on a home before you close. We contacted them and was told numerous time they would look into it and take of it. Well 2 months later, never heard a word back and I've called numerous times. We had to fix the issue ourselves. Honestly after this experience, I have told friends whom are currently buying to avoid them since they have poor customer communication. Horrible experience to go through."
