"I've used this UPS store for Amazon returns. I needed some items notarized on Presidents Day. Banks were closed and I decided to try UPS. At 1:00PM the store was packed. Long line for the notary. Frustrating part was the notary socializing with the customers. Being friendly is fine but he ceased doing his job while chatting. Notary was oblivious to the line of people waiting for his services, or the store being packed. Took me over 30 minutes but I got it done. Later in the day realized I had one more item needing to be notarized. UPS was open until 6:30PM. I got there 4:15PM. Thought I was in luck this time since I was the only customer there. I approached Randall Hoeksema the notary I used earlier and asked if he could help me again. He looked up from the counter and said "sorry he was off the clock". He mentioned another employee in the back, but told me it would be a very long wait because he was printing up a ton of photos. I asked if the employee in the back could stop and help me. Randall said "no". I left. Terrible customer service. I won't be back."
"It's so refreshing to go to a UPS store and just be able to drop off my prepacked and pre-labeled packages without having to wait for a receipt I don't need or want. Like most things in the Citrus area, it's well worth it to take the extra drive and go into Ocala. For anyone in Citrus County - this isn't run by the jerk that owns the franchises in Citrus Hills and Inverness, and unlike those locations, the employees are friendly and helpful."
"I've consistently experienced exceptional service with UPS especially during this bustling holiday season. Despite the increased work load, their staff has remained efficient, courteous and patient. Whether sending or returning packages, my encounters have always been positive. I commend UPS for their excellent work, notably, Jill, who provided exceptional service during my last visit. Keep up the outstanding job."
"Rudest UPS I have ever been to. Wanted to ship wine home. UPS doesn’t do that. Excuse me. I’ve been to countless ones that have. And she really didnt try to help me find a solution. Real jerk."
"Rude staff. I was returning a laptop to Amazon. They told me I would have to pay for a box or envelope which I agreed. I asked "If it gets damaged, will UPS cover it?" Since she suggested I ship it in an envelope and can get damaged. She got angry with me saying "We are not responsible for any damages done because it came from amazon" I said that does not make sense where it came from, i'm asking if I ship something UPS in an envelope, like this laptop, and it gets damaged, does UPS protect it? Her mother and father who were obviously the owners/managers explain to me that i'll have to pay more for insurance. Once they explained it to me I said yes that's how I want to ship it. They walked into the back again and she says to me "What is that about?" Implying I was being difficult I replied "I just want to make sure that my package won't get damaged" Everything about her, she was just plain rude! It was so rude I was confused. Like why is she so agrivated by me wanting to ship a package safely at UPS? She was giving me an attitude because I wanted to make sure my packaged didn't get damaged? I guess she figures because she works for her parents she can just be rude to customers? And not get fired? The only reason why I went there is for an Amazon return that was pre-paid by Amazon. I would never ship a package UPS after that. If they show that much disrespect in the begining, they are likely to treat my package like trash. Never again."
