Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

"Had the worst customer service experience with progressive today . My car insurance was just cancelled by their underwriting department because of a failure to verify information even though I had been paying for months. All I received was an email that I never opened . No phone call or anything.They left me with no car insurance and my car possibly getting towed because of it. When I called in to underwriting my experience with the lady was terrible. She cut me off before I even got to finish my sentence and when I asked her to let me speak to somebody else she transferred me to a whole different department. She also said that it was my job to call them not the other way around . I thought they would be a good choice because of their nice commercials they put out but do not be fooled they do no care what you got going on at all."

"I was hit by a individual with this insurance and it’s been awful, I went through all the steps and got a quote on my truck.. answered all their questions just for them to tell me 2 weeks later they’re not covering it, even though the guy hit me from behind. I also injured my neck but they don’t care.. I will get an attorney and let him do what needs to be done… people beware of this agency, they will side with the policy holder even though they were in the wrong"

"They quoted me $300 higher than my current policy at State Farm and it would have been less of a policy. The rep was overly friendly however."

"Flo is officially smoking Crack! Guess her habit has gotten so out of control she had to raise rates on everybody to keep up her habit. Started out with a decent quote for insurance but after the first 6 months my renewal came and I thought I was going to have to take out a second mortgage in order to pay it. I guess they think they are the only insurance game in town. I switched over to Geico and will never go back unless Flo gets straightened out and off her bad habit. Snapshot is a complete joke! You barely touch the brake and "beep"."

"Raised car insurance and doubled homeowners insurance. I have had trouble with ASI (under Progressive) because they wouldn't do their job with updating my account. Car insurance was good. They stress loyalty but I don't see that it really means anything. Looking for insurance with a different company."
