"Terrible experience each time I (try to) shop at this store, online purchases or in person. I’ve waited for help in multiple departments and observed store employees on their phones glance over, and just pass by, or interact with peers, instead of helping me (or other customers). The parking lot and all surrounding areas of this building are filled with sketchy people. I’ve been approached by people inside the store, who claim to be contractors offering to help with odd jobs. It is frustrating and makes shopping in this location uncomfortable. Today, I ordered delivery and paid extra shipping costs for same day delivery. Part of my order was picked up, but the other was left behind. I was charged for the full order. The driver could only communicate through a translator app and typed that, “Home Depot only gave part of the order”. I contacted customer service, all automated text/chat, and they stated I needed to contact the store because it showed the order was waiting for a delivery driver. I could not reach the store by phone and still do not have an answer or the rest of my order. This store used to be located at Florida Ave / Waters, and since the move over 20 years ago they continue to go downhill. I hate to think things will only get worse but they certainly are not getting better."

"This is absolutely the best Home Depot , I have ever seen the latin women are very knowledgeable and true professionals they helped me get my veterans credit through the Home Depot appt, I have been trying to purchase stove top drip pans for my Ge stove a lot of other stores say they have them but often they don't fit, but here they definitely fit my ge stove, this Home Depot from the customer service desk to the back of the store deserves 10 stars, 1st class all the time !!!"

"Store does not honor their own display prices, you may see a completely different price of an item when going to checkout. Went in to purchase some flooring and when checking out the price was completely different than what was displayed and the store manager only offered $100 off the total for not displaying the correct price."

"I visited Home Depot on November 4, 2023, and unfortunately, my experience at the truck rental department was far from satisfactory. As a long-time and loyal customer of Home Depot, who has spent thousands on property renovations, I had higher expectations for the level of service I would receive. Upon approaching the counter at around 9:13 AM, I encountered an employee who appeared preoccupied with a personal phone call. When I inquired about renting a truck, I was met with a dismissive and unfriendly response. The employee stated, "I don't have any," without offering any assistance or attempting to understand my needs. This encounter left me feeling like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. I believe that customer service is a vital aspect of any business, and it was disheartening to receive such treatment. If this employee is unhappy in their role, perhaps they should reconsider working in a customer-facing position. I hope Home Depot takes my feedback seriously and uses it as an opportunity to improve their customer service standards. My loyalty to the brand has been seriously tested by this experience, and I hope that in the future, customers will receive the respect and assistance they deserve when visiting Home Depot."
