"You will wait at least 8 hours to be loaded for a life load. Avoid this place"
"Sherwood bedding is the most unprofessional company I have ever experienced they treat their minority employees so disrespectfully; their management staff is rude and lack of empathy. They treat their employees horrible I will be reporting them to the better business bureau for discrimination and hostile workplace against my father."
"They arranged for a pickup but haven't made the product so I've been here 3 hours waiting while they build mattresses, nobody speaks clear English, so if your time doesn't matter this is a perfect pickup for you."
"I'm pretty frustrated right now. In 2017, I purchased a king-size EVOSLEEP Essence Smooth Top from a local retailer, Mattress Market (which has since gone out of business). This is a memory foam mattress that they claimed was a high quality competitor to Tempur. As recommended, I rotated my new mattress every three months, to prevent body impressions. Then I found I needed to rotate it every two months, then every month -- even every 2-3 weeks to prevent body impressions. Frustrating! Over time, I found that I was having less restorative sleep, more restless sleep, and frequently waking up sore. I recently got married. My new bride has had even worse experiences than me with the mattress. Therefore, a few days ago, we purchased a replacement mattress from another retailer and are hopeful that we will have improved sleep on it. I then called Sherwood in Orlando; a very nice lady answered the phone and spoke with me about my situation. Upshot is that: 1. They cannot refund me any money, as I was Mattress Market's customer, not theirs. 2. They cannot refund Mattress Market (who would then refund me), because that business closed. It has since reopened under new ownership, but the new owners do not have an account with Sherwood, so no luck there. 3. Sherwood can send someone out to inspect the mattress and see if it has failed; however... 4. IF they deem that it failed, then they can ONLY replace the mattress with the same mattress. But as I mentioned, I don't need a replacement mattress -- I need some refund of payment to help pay for the new mattress I purchased elsewhere. 5. And further, IF they replace the mattress, I need to go to Orlando to pick it up OR they can deliver it to me for $130. So, there's my story. If you choose to purchase a bed from this company, please be aware of my experiences. So far, I spent a lot of money, purchased a product that failed in under 3 years, and I have no ability to get a refund of any sort."
