"Love the murphy bed I picked out! Well worth the wait. The sales team and builder answered all my questions when determining which bed would fit my room and needs. They were available by phone and email and have great communication skills. Love the cute, creative responses at key points of the purchase. I am so glad that I had their experienced installer Jurgen Fana deliver and professionally install it. He was very polite, neat, thorough, respectful, confident and did an outstanding job. He took the time to wipe down the whole unit, clean the area and demonstrate the proper way to open and close it before leaving. I am very happy with my experience, start to finish. Definitely recommend this company. (I ordered unfinished maple doors to paint later, but I like the look as they are and will most likely not have them painted.)"

"I was initially very excited about this murphy bed. The actual mechanism is very high quality, but the bookshelves and melamine are not. The melamine has been flaking off of the bed for a full month now. There are chips coming off of the bed and I have to vacuum daily even when it's not even being used or touched. I contacted customer service about this issue and they told me to cover the knicks with the white wax-like block that was included. Both the texture and color of the block do not match the bed. Another problem is that the bookshelves do not line up. A friend of mind commented that it looks wonky and cheap. When I contact customer service about this issue, they generally copy and paste segments of the assembly instructions which we had already carefully reviewed prior to reaching out to them. We have also had other issues, but the bottom line us I completely regret purchasing this bed because the quality is not worth the price, but to return it would be too expensive. I was also under the impression that the beds were made in the USA, but the boxes I received said made in China. If I could go back in time, I would have purchased either just the mechanism or a panel bed."

"When the COVID-19 pandemic --officially-- hit us in 2020, we moved into a new home (Virginia). My office was much more space than I needed, so we decided to install a Murphy bed to maximize the space and allow an extra bedroom when friends or family visited. The parts were extremely well packed and there was no damage from shipping. The installation was pretty simple for me (I'm kinda handy), but there was always a little issue where the bifold doors would stay slightly open, while in the closed position. I used velcro strips for 2 years, and it worked a little, but the doors still wouldn't close completely. I was fine with it, as the functionality of the bed and cabinet system worked. 2 years later, I decided to reach out to the team at Murphy Bed Depot for "kicks" and giggles. Zac replied to my message the same day, and provided a solution that the team at Murphy Bed Depot reengineered for the system of which I purchased. Keep in mind, I purchased and installed this system 2 years ago. I completed the installation of the solution today, and guess what, the doors stay closed while closed, and gently lock together while open, keeping all my junk steady on the shelves. I was already pleased with the craftsmanship of the system before the updated solution, but the customer service takes this business to a whole new level. If you're shopping for a Murphy bed system, it doesn't matter if you can get it cheaper somewhere else, go with Murphy Bed Depot. The customer service by itself, is priceless."
