"I just had the worst experience with Ashley Furniture and their delivery. I give it a two because my actual sofa is nice and what I expected. But the customer service was awful. When I purchased the sofa, my sales person did not properly explain their standard delivery system now. As I later understood, it meant leave your wrapped sofa without you inspecting it on your driveway!! How can this be the new way for Ashley Furniture. I have bought many pieces before and yes they have delivery fees but to expect for my sofa to be just left wrapped outside my house is not acceptable. You aren’t given a chance to inspect it. After a futile conversation with customer service, I learned that no matter what the condition of my sofa I would not be able to return it. I accept it because it was left on my driveway. Like I mentioned, it was ok but this poor system should not be place. Please be aware of their new policies and the customer service that is now provided by Ashley Furniture."
