"I have to tell someone about my great experience this evening. Today was a rotten day. I had just gone out to my car to go to lunch and my car wouldn't start. I called AAA and they sent someone to jump my car. I sat through the rest of the day dreading having to buy a new battery and having to instal it. I immediately went to this location of Advance Auto Parts after work because it's close to work and home. Luckily when I walked in Lorraine was there to greet me and help me find a battery for my car. While asking me questions about my vehicle. You know the usual, make, model, what edition of the vehicle year. Loraine said have you had the battery tested? I said no, and she immediately went to grab her battery tester. She explained that it was free and that they test every battery before selling one. I figured there was no point. I knew I needed a new battery because the AAA guy told me. After testing my battery and alternator she said they were just fine and didn't need switched. I was shocked. She saved me about $250 just by insisting on testing the battery. I was blown away and was so greatful! This kind woman was just doing her job and treating me like anyone else, but it meant a lot to me. She really looked out for me by just testing my battery and alternator. I bought an air filter just because I felt like they deserved a sale for her effort. I told her I would put this review up for her because she made my terrible day a lot better. Lorraine really deserves a raise because I will tell anyone and everyone about the great service at Advance Auto Parts on Colonial. Lorraine I hope you see this and thank you again!"
