"Looks like they do good quality work, but they wanted to gauge me on materials costs. I had a large job and they were the only shop (of 3 estimates) that doubled their price of the fabric. I was present during the phone call and heard his pricing. Shocked when I heard price he would charge me, then said "well fabric is expensive." Well, no kidding. Of course, it is when you go from $18.50 a yard to $36. Took my large job somewhere else."
"They may or may not do good work but there is no way I can tell. I have driven to their place of business three times now, always at times their websire says they are open. Every time I've taken the trouble to go there, the place has been locked up. I've called three times. Twice I left voice messages. Once somebody actually answered the phone. He told me the reason nobody was there was that he was in New Jersey. I will not waste any more time begging these guys to accept my business."
"Job was ok. Just unprofessional they had my items for almost two days which is fine idc about waiting I confirmed the price twice and when i arrived they changed their mind and upped it another 10$ probably go to another place next time. His excuse “it was more work than I expected” and that’s ok but I should’ve gotten a call stating it was gonna be more money but when I took my wallet out he made the comment and now it was a different price lol. Unprofessional."
"Freddy is a master at what he does & he works very hard to have everything done on time. We had a project for him for the USF dormitories and he did a fantastic job. Everything down to the last stitch is precise and high quality. I would recommend him for any job big or small!"
"I had just bought a king-size bed and needed a new headboard to go with it. The headboards I was finding in stores and online were pretty expensive, especially, for the upholstered, tufted look that I was going for. Luckily, I was referred to Freddy, the owner of New Life Upholstery, who knew exactly the look I was going for. He helped me pick out the best fabric and within a few weeks, my beautiful, custom headboard was delivered. He did an amazing job and the price was less than I would've paid had I bought one in a store. I am very pleased with my headboard and would highly recommend this shop!"
