"Brought my truck in from a transmission shop who said it had an electrical issue. This shop looked at it for 30 minutes and said it wasn’t a electrical issue and then tried to sell me a new transmission. Even though a transmission shop said it was fine… issue ended up being a bad electrical connection to one of the speed sensors.. so it was electrical. 0/5"

"I'm very disappointed in this company due to the recent scam I experienced. This was my go-to shop for everything with my vehicles for years. I brought my vehicle in recently and had the AC repaired and I came home with battery issues. I cannot prove this, but it appears that one of the terminals on my battery was replaced with a larger one so that the battery would not make a constant connection so it could not keep a charge. Of course this caused the battery light to come on and prompted me to attempt to return the vehicle to the shop. I was lucky and managed to have the terminal fixed elsewhere prior to bringing it back. I brought the vehicle back just to make sure there were no other issues. The shop attempted to quote me over $800 to replace the alternator. I like to believe in the best of people but I was already seeing red flags. and I've had alternators replaced in the past, so I'm not naive on how they work and how they act when they are starting to go. I declined the service and tested my alternator myself multiple times and it's fine. After the terminal was replaced and I charged my battery there are no more issues with the vehicle. While I cannot prove that Precision did this I can say that I had no issues with my battery terminal prior to them servicing the vehicle and no one else touches his vehicle except for them until now. Unfortunately it's not the first time that I've dealt with a scam like this. I highly warn anyone who brings their vehicle to the shop to please take pictures of your vehicles interior engine, and of anything that could potentially be messed with before letting them service it. Had this vehicle gone dead on me in the middle of traffic I could have been hurt and this company would have been responsible possibly for someone's death. I've had batteries go out on me in the middle of traffic before and it is a terrifying ordeal. The new management honestly is not what it used to be. I really miss Greg. I know the owner doesn't care however I just like to say that if you did indeed try to scam me, and I believe that you did, not only could you have caused someone their life but you also have lost my business entirely. I drive a POS so there's a lot of honest money to be made off of me for just minor repairs, all for an $800 scam. I'm more disappointed than I am angry. Alas, that's how it is, and I hope this review helps potential future customers make a good decision when choosing a new mechanic."
