"Going to be as up front as I can with this, but this has been the most frustrating experience I've had with a mattress store. We went with this business because of the warranty they offered on their mattresses that was better than any other store around. This however wasn't my first mattress purchase, nor my second, or third... but it was the most irritating. We purchased our mattress in November and were told it would be 2-4 weeks depending on the manufacturer. We were told that ordering a rolled up mattress can result in them coming in damaged sometimes, so we ordered one unrolled in advance(this is relevant later). Six weeks go by any we get no call to tell us what is going on. I call several times only to get no answer, or voice mail once on a weekend. I work graveyard so catching people during the day is an inconvenience. After getting someone on the phone I get told my mattress arrived earlier, and arrived damaged... so they had to order a new one, but no one felt the need to give me an update so I wouldn't be waiting or wondering. December comes and goes with more silence. I didn't get any form of update unless I either #1 called myself, or #2 went in person. When I did get someone to tell me what was going on I get "I don't know" almost every time. After two months of this... both myself and my spouse were extremely irritated. Now January 19th we finally get a mattress that we ordered back in November... rolled up. After we specifically ordered it not so. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but after the salesman told us in person that the rolled up ones can come in damaged... we opted out. So, with that in mind we got it today and now have to wait for it to expand before we can sleep on it or tell if it's damaged. Three stars assuming it's /not/ damaged this time. To be perfectly clear. If in the future I'm going to spend a grand on a rolled up foam mattress I would prefer to not wait nearly three entire months to get it, regardless of warranty, when I can go to anyotherstore and take a rolled up mattress home same day... The salesman was friendly and I feel he did /his/ job adequately. My main issue is the severe lack of communication after giving a /new/ business to me a thousand dollars on something and getting silence for six plus weeks. As a salesman myself.. when someone pays me 1000+ dollars for something I give them weekly updates until their product arrives and is installed. It doesn't matter if those updates are "still on order" or "still waiting on parts", communication is communication. I was offered to sleep on the damaged mattress until the new one came in, but I didn't see the point in changing out my mattress twice over and sleeping on something that might hurt my back more than my current one."
"I spoke with Tyler upon entering the store. Very professional and knowledgeable. There was a minor flaw in my most recent purchase which is rare coming from Sealy products. There was no issue in honoring the warranty. Great customer service and a "thumbs up" from our family. Thanks again!"
"Tyler helped my wife and I choose our new King size Jamison mattress. He was courteous, patient and very knowledgeable about the entire mattress selection. This was our second purchase of a Jamison mattress from the GMM Foley location. We didnt feel pressured nor did we get the salesman vibe. He showed us all the mattresses in our price range, explained the differences, helped us weigh the pros and cons and got us 12 months no interest financing as well. They offer two methods of delivery but we chose to pick it up ourselves. We are very happy with our purchase."
