"Sand spirit Park has a very nice boat ramp, with nice restroom facilities and picnic areas. There is a huge playground that they just recently completed the construction of and it’s an awesome one for kids of all ages. It has the rubber turf and lots of different equipment to choose from. There’s also a really nice deli right by the ramp to grab sandwiches at before you go out on the water. We drive from Okeechobee to the East Coast for intercoastal fishing and we always put our boat in at the ramp in Sand Spirit Park."
"Beautiful I love it got a few fish"
"Beautiful park surrounded by water on 3 sides. Some sort of sea wall construction was occurring while I was there. Hopefully it’s finished soon!"
"Great park for a picnic & to enjoy the views. Many covered areas to enjoy lunch. Fun to watch the boats on the water. It has a nice playground, too. Great for a kids bday party or get together."
"This place is a whole lot different than it was in the 80s. I remember that you used to be able to camp here, and the piers and boat ramps weren’t built yet. I believe this will be a pretty good place to fish, but you can’t use the piers or the boat ramps at the east end. Instead, you have to use the west end by the marina. You can fish from the walls though. I saw a nice snook, but I couldn’t get a picture because it saw me first. Also, I saw finger mullet and blue crabs. The coolest part about the visit to this park is the drive through the canopy trees over the road"
