Ocean Pool

"I do not recommend this firm for pool service or repair work. Prior to buying my home, my home inspector discovered the pool (maintained by Ocean Pool) had a host of issues…the pool heater didn’t work, the light was broken, etc. So the previous home owner paid for this firm to “fix the heater.” The day after I bought the home, I discovered that the spa wasn’t working properly, and so I called the owner and he was on vacation. He sent over one of his techs who couldn’t resolve the matter. So 4 days later, he shows up and tells me that the spa valves aren’t working and that will cost another $280. Then, while he is in the process of fixing that issue, the heater that he “supposedly” repaired stops working and he says he has no idea how to fix it and I need to contact a heating company. It turns out, when I start calling heating companies, that he shouldn’t have been doing any repair work on a heater without proper licensing to work on heaters. Finally, after all this, he then complains this is “too difficult” of a job and he can’t do it. I don’t have words for how disappointed I was with my first 5 days of having to deal with this firm for pool service. Bottom line: Stay away from this company! They are not professional and will not take responsibility for their failures."
