"Gustavo’s work is A++. I have 20 plus tattoos and decided to get a small Arabic script tattoo while in Dubai. It became completely infected and healed awful. Went to see Gustavo at Uplift Tattoo in Miami and he was able to bring it back to life’. First time we did it healed spotty due to it being done over scar tissue. He redid it again at no cost and looks brand new. Highly recommended his work. Patient, diligent, and shop was immaculate. I’ll be back for more!"

"Gus provided me with an amazing alligator skull tattoo on my foot. He demonstrated exceptional kindness, was easy to collaborate with, and, on top of that, exhibited remarkable precision with a steady hand. Despite my foot involuntarily twitching during the process (which was quite frustrating, given my extensive tattoo experience), Gus successfully executed the tattoo. The lines are smooth and precise, and due to its location on my foot, the healing process was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you're in Miami."

"My experience with Val was the worst I've ever encountered and I've been tattooed around the US... He was not willing to collaborate, communicate, and was extremely rude. We had planned for the work to be completed months prior and he would ghost me when I was trying to coordinate. He completed only 1/2 of my full back tattoo and told me "he has a life and doesn't work over texts" when I asked to send him my notes. Overall, I didn't feel prioritized, care for, or treated with humanity. I really really wish my experience wasn't so painful since he seems like a talented artist. I really want others to consider this when deciding to work with him or this shop."
