"It was a great stay. The hotel is directly across from the Sarasota airport. It was convenient to restaurants and shopping about 5-10 mins drive. Only bad was I asked for room service the three days I was there and no one ever came. The elevator broke down the day before I left so we had to lug our heavy bags from the top floor (3rd) which wasn't too bad, but an inconvenience. Overall, the hotel itself was clean and the towels fresh and plentiful. Oh, and breakfast was just blah."

"We arrived late and a very nice Dwayne at the front desk helped us. And, yes, i was very apprehensive from reading the reviews, but once i got to my room (#303), i was very pleasently surprised. All Very Clean and spacious and it had all the amenities needed for a few nights stay (microwave, fridge, blowdryer,iron). One nice very large tray to eat on OR catch all the things in your pockets. The bed was very comfortable (huge plus). It was nice to see all the plugs situated in perfect spots for personal electronics charging. Very disappointed to find in the a.m. that the charging cable ports did not work. (PLEASE PLEASE fix this!!!) Otherwise, this was a pretty excellent stay for one night. Breakfast had your standard eggs, biscuit/gravy, waffle machine, coffee juice. All very clean and tidy. I would stay here again! Let me note that this room truly deserves 5 stars if it had all electical outlets working which, to me, is important and includes those charging ports. (Details matter!) So, pro tip: Always bring a power strip if you want all your electronics charging in one spot!."

"Great hotel for what we had planned. Centrally located close to the airport, Premier Soccer Complex Park, downtown Sarasota and the surrounding bay shops. Check in was a breeze and the front desk staff was very pleasant. Contrary to other comments our room was clean & tidy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast availability is also a great plus however not as good as other Spring Hill locations. I have to point out the management (George) was outstanding! We had a water pressure issue in our shower but one phone call and they switched us rooms immediately. Very impressed (and lucky of course the room was available). I have to admit the staff and management really are exceptional! Super attentive and helpful! Overall great experience will definitely stay again."

"Good location, friendly service. The rooms are dated and somewhat need a good scrubbing. Shower was clean and no issues with bed. Was fine for a night, but probably not long term."

"Worst SpringHill Suites we ever stayed in. The association that checked us in wasn't welcoming at all. No greeting, just "license and credit card". Told us our room number and how to get to it. Nothing else. Not downright rude, butvacted like we were inconvenientcing her. Didn't tell us the elevators were out of order or offer us a room on a lower floor. The room had no drawers to unpack clothing into. You could reach the toilet tissue holder from the toilet. There was no way to reach the towels from the shower. Just poorly designed rooms. The ceiling was leaking and there were buckets all over one of the halls. We usually have a great stay at Springhill Suites, except for this one. Won't stay there again."
