"First and foremost, I don’t think I have ever written a review on anything, But this was so upsetting to me that I felt the need to warn you. I’ve used a few different Walmart Pharmacies over the years but this location is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever done business with ever! I have some very severe chronic illnesses that I must take my medication diligently and timely on a daily basis. I’ve been waiting for one of my medications for at least a week now . I’ve called to find out that they didn’t put my medication out to FedEx not once but twice like they said they did. I called again this morning and unfortunately the female that answered the phone was anything but kind, caring, professional or compassionate. This female went as far as to say to say to me, your the one with the issue, you’re on medication not me. I will NEVER allow this irresponsible, uncaring, pharmacy ever fill one of my prescriptions agin!"
"I can’t stand the managing pharmacist, I have complain to Walmart, but always push me back to the store manager someone once put me through to the district manager and the pharmacist. I had a problem with it. I want to call me back, not the district manager so this stems from having a reverse shoulder surgery done when I went up there to get painkillers for physical therapy. He cut them in half without even calling and talking to me so instead of 60 I got 30 he could’ve done with a Costco state Cory on me and see that I’ve never been prescribed a narcotic before. But when I spoke to him about that, he didn’t care my orthopedic surgeon said he does that on all his patients just at one pharmacist. Now my wife had emergency appendectomy they gave her five days worth of pain meds he walked out of the booth came out or I was standing with other people asked me to verify my wife’s name then he asked me what my wife’s surgery was for because he didn’t want to get five days worth of painkillers if he didn’t think it was a reasonable surgery to get painkillers for I told him to give me back the script and I was going to Publix."
"I was prescribed an antibiotic by my OBGYN for a sensitive and embarrassing issue. My prescription was sent to this Walmart and I came in to get it. I was in a lot of pain and after filling my prescription, I was sent down to the Pharmacist to talk about my medication. He asked what the medication was for, and would NOT accept “I’m not comfortable discussing it” as an answer. I was mortified and so embarrassed. I didn’t think it was fair that I should have to tell man that is not my doctor about the issue my doctor prescribed me medicine for, that I had been on previously. I would REALLY appreciate it if they would go back to asking if you have any questions for the pharmacist, instead of allowing the doctor to ask you personal and uncomfortable questions before they will release an antibiotic."
"The Palmetto location is always dirty & understaffed. I take a disabled friend there to shop & frequently all of their electric carts are broken. This is such a problem that a Walmart employee asked me to call their corporate offices to complain, since the company employee's pleas go unanswered & unaddressed."
"If I didn’t have to give them a star I wouldn’t they are unprofessional, very loud and don’t care. My sons doctors office prescribed my son a SPECIFIC antibiotic but since they didn’t have it in stock they decided to go an alternate route and try to give me the medicine that my son cannot take due to constant vomiting. Walmart pharmacy employees argued with me saying it won’t make him vomit. Terrible experience even had my doctors office on the phone saying which specific antibiotic my son has to take and Walmart refused to give that to me. Ever since I changed pharmacies and went there I’ve had nothing but problems."
