Walgreens Pharmacy

"Save your self a number of nasty headaches and avoid this place. The staff is some of the most incompetent people I have ever come across. They had my prescription for over two weeks and never called me. Said they never received it so and call my Dr and make sure it was sent successfully. When I called my doctors office to find out what was going on they said it was sent out the day of my appointment. Even sent me the confirmation. I called this location (whom I have picked up from before) they say that they didn’t fill it because the home address that’s on my license compared to what is on my license is different to what my doctor sent. I asked what needed to be done and she said she could send a fax informing the Drs office of the mistake. 2 weeks. 2 weeks they had this info and did nothing. I call the Drs office back and they said they would have it fixed within the hour. I call the pharmacy again for confirmation and yes, they got it and I can come in after a couple hours. After a few hours and waiting in line, they said they did not have my medication and they would not have it for another week. I asked if they’re any other locations that do so they can forward the prescription. She said that was my Drs responsibility to make contact with the Walgreens to determine availability of my meds. I wish I could inform somebody at Walgreens just how horrible this pharmacy really is. UPDATE: I had my Dr send the prescription to another pharmacy and the folks at the Walgreens pharmacy never reversed the claim so my insurance company said it was too soon for a refill. Not for another 90days. Now I’m going back to the original pharmacy to fix this in person because they won’t pick up the phone. I hope someone sees this review and realizes the aggravation they are about to cause themselves by doing business with this place."

"Noelle and Carnella( I think I misspelled her name) we’re so nice. I shop for patients at a nearby rehab center who can’t leave and they assisted me with my large purchase. They didn’t give me a hard time like some managers do. It was very nice to meet such nice people."

"Pharmacy dept. is a headache! My Doctor, sent my prescription over. I gave them plenty of time to get them ready. Went to look for them and claimed they were not sent in. So I had to rush to the Dr. Office before they closed, because they were no longer answering the phones, To ask them to give me copies of the prescription.and they showed me the confirmation of the sent scripts. So I called the pharmacy to make sure they had them , and they said ohh I just got them 20 mins.ago, come in 2 hrs. It should be ready. I go Back AFTER 2 hrs. And they say. 2 meds. Are not ready because they weren't Shure whether to fill them or not . Because it was pricey. And she said, l didn't know if you had insurance. And some people don't even buy them. I told them to please fill all the scripts.and of course COME BACK IN ONE HOUR!"
