"This was a highlight of visiting St.Augustine! The boardwalk is longer than you expect with nature at every turn!!! Amazing close up views of the salt marsh. We saw so many birds, crabs and even a raccoon. Definitely a must-visit stop if you have time in the area."
"Lovely mile long boardwalk with a variety of views. Ran across a massive cottonmouth."
"This boardwalk is very beautiful but there is no public parking at the entrance. So you have to drive to local community center. Then walk over a mile to get to the entrance of the boardwalk. At the entrance there is a bike rack that you can lock up your bike if you cycle there. The boardwalk is almost a mile long. Near the end you can make a left and go to the end of the pier. Or make a right and there is a picnic table at the end in the middle of no where. To me that was a little too creepy for me. Wear bug repellent. I went on a windly day and the bugs still bothered me."
"Really cool boardwalk at the end of a very nice gated development. The gate was open and allowed access. The boardwalk goes through the marsh and DEAD ENDS at a fishing pier. The walk is approximately. 1 mile each way.....it's NOT a loop. Bring WATER and the horse flies were horrible on our walk so we cut it short. There is NO SHADE. I would do again when it's not the Fly season. It really is an amazing walk out in the wilderness...well done. Parking is limited in a cul de sac at the end of the road."
"Beautiful boardwalk with fantastic views! Had to go through the gate at Palencia, but we just told them we were heading to the boardwalk and they let us right in."
