Woo Sung Foods Market Aka Woo-Sung Mart

"Recent change of ownership has not negatively impacted Woo Sung too much, fortunately. Woo Sung is an Asian (mostly Korean) market that resembles the 1980’s LA Korean mart in a suburb setting. If you are an expert Asian grocery shopper, you will appreciate this mart quite a lot. Some items are very nicely priced. Especially the produce section is very neatly organized and all produce items are very fresh. The meat section is not huge and all are frozen. But they are reasonably priced and all cuts are optimized for Korean dishes."

"We wanted to go to a Korean market to see if they had Korean drinks and items and although they did have the usual like other oriental stores, this one had more stuff in bulk. This stores sits in the center of a plaza and next to it is a new Korean restaurant. Employees were working and stocking shelves when we walked in. It says the store is newly opened but I don’t know for how long, it looks clean. They have fresh kimchi and Bonchon side dishes and a lot of variety there with nice cuts of meats in the frozen section. It was definitely out of the way for us since it’s not near the other Asian towns. This one is located in Winter Park in an older area but it had a lot of bakeries and stuff nearby. It was a good trip but I don’t know if I would make the trip out unless needing things in bulk."

"I live an hour away, but this is my go-to place for getting ingredients for many recipes. I'm also addicted to pot stickers. When I first went a year or so ago, they only had a moderate selection of different types of dumplings. On my most recent trip, it seems the selection has tripled! I like the vegetarian dumplings and they had at least six different types to choose from. This is a great place to go for anything you might need. Staff is always friendly and helpful."

"Very large & well-run Asian grocery store. I love their selection of fresh produce, giant containers of kim chee, wide variety of Asian snacks, noodles & spices, and other hard-to-find imported delicacies from Asia. Easy parking with a Post Office next door."

"This is by far my favorite Asian grocery store of all time. I’ve had several over the years. This one always has fresh produce. They have about eight or nine different mushrooms, FRESH. As a Caucasian, sometimes I need help finding things. They are very friendly and helpful in taking me right to what I need. I would recommend Woo Sung to anyone, even you you’re not looking for Asian specific. They have a very large selection of rice noodles as a pasta alternative and a very large rice selection."
