Publix Super Market at Aloma Shopping Center

"I typically have no issues with this Publix but on 02/05 I encountered Ida. Ida took it upon herself to lie to me when I asked her if I could have my sun made on mountain bread. Her response was “No we don’t do that here. Would you like a wrap or a sub?” Because I was in a rush, I had a sub made and went about my day. Little did Ida know, I knew that I was being lied to and I called to store back to fact check this information. Not only did the deli manager inform me that what Ida said was untrue, but the bakery staff confirmed this also. At this point I am furious and decided to go back to the store because why would you lie? I found Ida and asked her if she was a new employee. She says she is not. Ida has been with Publix for over 3 years. If that’s the case, then how do you not know that people can order a sub on mountain bread? It’s not that Ida didn’t know, it’s that she didn’t care to take the time out of her work day to honor my request. All Ida had to say for herself was that “It wasn’t intentional hun” It was intentional because you knew you lied and proceeded to lie because you didn’t think that I would follow up on the misinformation that you intentionally provided. That experience was very distasteful and Ida should be held responsible. I spoke to every manager in the store including Rebecca, the store manager, and hopefully this doesn’t happen to someone else."

"Would give it 5stars. The deli could use a little work or slightly better management. And they definitely need more checkout lanes open. 1-2 won't cut it with how busy it always is."

"If I could rate them a zero I would. This Publix has been going downhill for the last few years. I ordered two sandwich trays Saturday at noon to be picked up Sunday at noon. Trays were specifically for a function at 1:00pm. After waiting ten minutes I was informed they gave my trays to someone else. Hard to believe especially since my name is on them. Would not recommend this Publix. Bad customer service and rude employees. Been going to this Publix for thirty four years. Loyalty is one thing but incompetence is another. Will be going to another store."

"This is my favorite Publix since I moved into town! I am always able to find what I need. My favorite cashier is Susan; she is so nice, knowledgeable of the store layout, and attentive to her customers. When I need to find something, I will look to see if she is on the register to ask where to locate something; she never lets me down! Thanks for being so awesome, Susan!"
