"Somewhere decent to walk around, ranger recommended, but not a whole lot to see unless you're lucky. Flat dirt/grass trail, just over a 1/2 mile loop, only a few spots to access the water. Parking is just a pull off for a few vehicles at a time, but the visitor center parking isn't too far."
"This one was pretty cool, although very short and you didnt get close enough to the center area to get good views of the birds. A nice walk but that was about it."

"Eco Pond doesn't have much of a trail, the boardwalk was destroyed during a hurricane some years ago and was never rebuilt. Bitting insects will be a problem as well. I recommend you come prepared or stop by the outfitters store in the nearby Flamingo Visitor Center for repellent."
