"Update, still a great walk. On a sunny day it's a fun thing to do they even play the tower radio so you can hear the discussion between pilots and airport."
"Really nice viewing deck with ample seating, sunshade and a nice bathroom nearby. You can hear the air traffic comms if you turn the dial timer by the front rail. But the planes are too small and too far away as they take off and land - not much of an impressive view in my opinion. Overall it was a nice way to spend 30 mins, but I wouldn't be in a rush to come back."

"Great location to watch planes. APF is a fairly busy airport with a good mix of General Aviation and Business Jet traffic. The elevated platform is well maintained and shaded. The site also has restrooms with plumbing and a water fountain, a small play area, as well as some workout equipment. Definitely would come back again."
