Reviews
"Bay access, not very big."
"Tropical Point Park is a hidden gem, sliver of sand where you can dip your toes in the water on Pine Island. The area is quiet; the kind of place where you can hear the water lapping against the shore. On the day I visited, several other people were also at the park, but were respectful of the tranquility. Parking is limited, and the restroom is a port-a-potty"
"The city keeps up with this area very well, and it’s the perfect mini beach experience for my puppy. The sand distorts the color but the water is very clear."
"Great little park to bring the family for a little cookout, or just to walk the dog. There is about 25 feet of 'beach' to get wet. If you brought your kayak, just around the bend is a spot for you to launch. No trailer parking, about 5 or 6 parking spaces, one grill and 3 picnic tables. There is a port a potty on site. Relax and look out at the fishing boats going by..."
"Excellent location for kayaking/canoeing launching! Expect to get your feet wet since it's a gradual slope into deeper water. While on the water for about 3 hours I was able to enjoy a great deal of birdlife and a dolphin out in Manatee Bay. If you want to be out in the breeze there are many locations out in the open for that as well as many options to stay out of the breeze on a windier day."
