"Great place to hold small parties pavilion is right next to the playground restrooms are also close by plenty of parking we held a baby shower there where at least 60 people were in attendance and everyone was pleased that the playground was close and easy to keep watch over the children while adults enjoyed the party"

"The property was donated to the city by the Church next door, which is the cities first and oldest Church of God called Victory Chapel. The park is peaceful and located in a majority Latin American community."

"Shenandoah has the potential to be a nice neighborhood park. Unfortunately it isn't that yet. The people that hang out here are often times high or drunk. At any given time you can watch people nodding off on the benches. The playground equipment is in need of renovating also. The equipment has been vandalized repeatedly over the years. The city staff have obviously worked hard to try and keep the equipment looking it's best but they can only clean spray paint off so many times before the equipment surface breaks down. There aren't any swings either. There are many other parks in the city that are much more welcoming and safe feeling."
