Reviews
"Was on the way home from an appointment with my daughter. I had to stop and work, so saw this park and stopped at the first spot I could I find. Immediately an older man walked by my car pretending to look for a trail. Then a few minutes later another older man (dressed as a woman) did the same thing. He had a mini shirt with his butt hanging out! Before I left the park I drove through the rest of the park and there are random cars parked throughout with older men just sitting there. I will never be back and would not want anyone to take their children there, so wrote this review as a warning."
"It’s a small park surrounded by lots of trees. There’s a basketball court, a shelter, swing set, small playground, and a little lake area. It’s not pristine but still a nice quiet place to visit. Parking is free and there are plenty of spaces."
"I came here today because of the Hiking Spree, but will never come back. There were sooo many random older guys in cars tucked away in corners, just loitering, cars running, windows open. Super sketchy. My partner said they were probably “cruisers,” barf. Also, maybe drug dealers? They made me feel very uncomfortable and I was glad I wasn’t alone. The park is in disrepair with trash everywhere. The bathrooms were closed in the middle of the day. Very sad to see such a potentially awesome park just fall apart."
"This park has trails enough for 45 minutes to an hour of brisk hiking. It is surrounded by private land with houses that are on rundown side. One of the properties has a field with pigs in it which was a treat. While walking large dogs could be heard in the distance. Presumably from the neighborhood to the south. The playground, pavilions and lake were quite nice. One of the locals warned me that at times there are certain individuals he has encountered in the park that were aggressive. Nice park just be on guard and have the means to defend yourself I suppose."
