"This is a good park for lots of short well shaded trails through the front half of the point. It is a good place for fishing lots of places to wade in and drown some shrimp. It has a large pavilion for events, and a couple of cute stops for picnics. The kayak launch area can be tricky if youbare not watching the tides. The mangroves hang low and the pass is shallow so you have to find a happy medium to get through unless you launch at the tip."
