Reviews of Sunnyhill Restoration Area North Trailhead
"Very awesome and peaceful place to walk with the dogs. You do have to pay attention to the wildlife. Gators, Bears..."
"We had a really nice hike. Saw some deer just after we started walking. Was really nice to get away from the noise of the city. Looking forward to going back soon."
"Beautiful hike !! Deer visible from the parking area. The grass does get a bit high in some areas. I'm sure it was just in between mowing and bad timing on my part. A really tranquil area to enjoy nature. I gave it a moderate rating for it's distance not for the difficulty of the trail."
"I hiked all or portions of red, yellow, white, and levee trails for a 13.6 mile loop. The trails are all great, but be prepared for plenty of sun. Really, only the red trail offers much shade. The trails are very wide, mostly short grass, and very well-managed. Where earthen, the ground is compacted and easy to hike. You'll spot plenty of wildlife with great birding opportunities with woods and water all around. I did not see alligators, but others have. About a half mile in from the north trailhead, there you'll find a camping area with fire pit, benches, and picnic tables. Enjoy these really nice trails!"
"Tons of Wildlife out here. I've never been without seeing multiple deer. Wide range of Florida ecosystems also."
