Wild Fork

"We placed 2 orders for delivery, met driver at my house and placed orders directly in the freezer still frozen. One order had 8 various kinds of ground meat, the other had prepared meals. We had 2 packs of crab cakes with 2 each, one pack of 2 was not edible. We have tried 3 of the ground meats and one of those was spoiled and the other was freezer burnt around the edge. I am going to throw the rest away. Customer service said they would take care of it and they gave a whopping $23 credit?!? I was hoping for an alternate to Schwanns since there demise, don't think this is it."

"Wild Fork has been one of my most consistent source of meats lately. I still prefer the fresh Costco ribeye, but I have an option to buy the frozen and thaw at my convenience if I purchased from Wild Fork. Seafood selection is awesome as well and the pricing is beyond reasonable. If you are comfortable with the thawing process, then buying the frozen seafood is likely to give you better seafoods to work with. I love buying at the store instead of ordering online. Online orders are inconsistent at times and frequently ships/delivers partial orders. This is frustrating because you need certain quantities to accomplish your culinary goals. So shopping at the store in person is a better option, to me at least. I am going to sous vide (then pan sear) my black angus (17 days aged) tomorrow and making seafood paella with the seafood from Wild Fork. Forgot to mention their sides are very competent. Such as creamed spinach, cheese balls, skin on mashed potatoes."

"So far the meats are cheaper than standard markets. Lots of varieties of bone marrow, goose, prepackaged meals, and aged meats! Even tried different types of wild game and was worth every penny. 110% highly recommended and I will be an often returning customer. The elk is so far my fav."

"Definitely the place to be. For us clean freaks, this Wild Fork is always tidy & organized. It feels like you're at a higher level of shopping experience. Just your average local who had no interest in the place when they opened but now loves stopping in every week to get what I need. "I just ordered some meats online, delivery on Sat 11.10.23 am so if I can I'll update this after cooking/ dinner. Got a Whole Duck ( Thanksgiving day) and 2 NY strip steaks for later date. Meat looks good, nice marbling in beef. Hopefully mine will be that way also. Good price in meats, a few dollars less than local Food Stores ! Plus Free 24 hr shipping!"
