"This park rules! Stopped by on my way through Melrose, which is a nice small historic central FL town. Grassy areas, benches, and a nice waterfront with a marked off area for swimming with a floating platform. The kids looked like they were having a blast. AND, best part: there is not a single spot in this small park where the rules are not readily visible, so you will never not know what you cannot do. Conveniently, the number and email for ALACHUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE is right there so you can call or even text photos of those who must clearly have visual impairment and cannot seem to see how much this park rules."
"This is a privately owned publicly allowed Park for the people this is a awesome place to swim picnic kayak fish a place for yourself your family your friends very very nice local private own swimming place please help support the mbca Melrose business Community Association without them we would not have this place in Melrose. And if you visit leave no footprints(trash). No one likes picking up other people's trash. please & thank you let's all help keep Melrose Beach Park clean."
"Small private park open to public guests. Entrance is free, open until 7pm. Swimming, picnic tables, porta potty. My girls loved it! Brought our on picnic lunch and stayed all afternoon. Plenty of shade. Bring floaties. Some areas get deep, so use caution if you don't swim well."
