Reviews of Silver Springs Conservation Area
"Don't go off the trails."
"This is such a cool place to go for an easy walk/hike. I’ve seen hawks, deer and or course squirrels. The outside loop is a outlet bit over 2 miles and is good for walking or running."
"We've been a few times and seen several exciting fauna. Huge owl, adult diamondback, woodpeckers galore and deer. No map that I remember. Trails marked clearly throughout. Scenery is all very similar except a dried out marshy area found by walking down a service road on the east side. If you're needing to sight some birds, this open area is full of dead trees and seems to attract a lot of woodpeckers. Attempted mushroom hunting once, but happened upon diamondback. No bite, but definitely gave the rest of our outing a grave feeling. I don't see many other visitors when visiting. Usually just a couple."
"Perfect place for jogging or to take a relaxing stroll in the woods. They have very nice trails. You can constantly hear the traffic from the main roads on three sides of the conservation park, so don't go here if your trying to escape into nature. I go once a week to walk my cat and we have the best time. It's never crowded and every person I have met has been very friendly and wearing face masks."
"Nice quiet walking trails, hidden gem is well maintained and not crowded. We had a hawk land abour 10 feet from us and dig at the ground. Qe brought our leash cat and he had a great time running around checking everything out. They do post leasshes are required and i highly suggest you follow that, it would be easy for a pet to run off the path and get lost"
