Lochloosa Lake Park

"While driving out of state, we pulled over at Lochloosa Lake Park to stretch our legs. It wasn't sunny and it was cold but the view was beautiful!"

"This is the real Florida! A massive fresh water lake, large cypress trees with billowing Spanish Moss, local fisherman on shore and in boats, century old homes with palm trees in the front yard with an old bait shop nearby. This park has a decent boat ramp, floating dock, public restrooms and a well maintained parking area. Our favorite part was the relaxing pavilion with benches overlooking the lake at the end of a dock. Lots of birds to see and enjoy!"

"The parking is limited but otherwise we had a great day on the lake. Came for the bass but only caught a couple of warmouth and mudfish. There were a ton of people fishing for shell crackers and specs(crappie). Beautiful lake."

"5 star view, parking and little pier/gazebo thing however area around the pier in the water has an unfortunate amount of litter. Also has the park has a CSX railroad line right behind it so if your into train watching might be a good spot for photos of the freight trains . Other than that a nice stop of the highway to stretch use the public bathroom."
