"This is a very neat place. I could see people floating this water in the summer. I stopped by after eating at Kathis Crab Shack. It's very pretty and peacefull. It's not far from the main road. If I were local I could see me setting here taking a lunch break."

"This is a late review. On a rainy day, 12-14, 2018, I visited Steinhatchee Falls. I was a little disappointed that I didn't see any real falls or even rapids. Maybe the tide was coming in?"

"Beautiful place to visit! Very few people everytime I visit so crowd is never an issue. Picnic tables and trails to enjoy with the family and if you like hiking. There is a kayak and canoe launch. Easily accessible. Great steps leading down for views and picture taking. Dirt road leading in but was an easy drive."

The falls may not be the biggest or most impressive waterfall you'll ever see, but the peaceful and serene setting more than makes up for it. The short hike to the falls is easy to navigate and offers beautiful views of the Steinhatchee River and the surrounding natural scenery. Once you reach the falls, you'll be greeted by the gentle sound of water cascading down the rocks and the lush greenery that surrounds it. I loved the fact that this spot is not overcrowded with tourists, making it a perfect spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Steinhatchee Falls if you're looking for a peaceful and natural setting to relax and unwind. "A remote, small picnic area with boat ramp. The dirt road in here is pretty rough - some of the potholes are downright dangerous, so go slowly and watch out. But once you get here, it’s beautiful. There’s parking for several vehicles, picnic tables, some with covers, and old boat ramp that has deteriorated to the point that it’s no longer useful for trainers (but good for hand launching) and there are several good access points to the river."
