Normally, I would be understanding if a cashier working on Thanksgiving was a little bit grumpy, but she was nothing but cheerful and helpful, and even helped me find items that I couldn’t find myself by radioing on the intercom. Personally, as a business owner myself summer is exactly the type of employee I would want and wish to have year round 24/7 I think she’s fantastic at her job and would be absolutely enthralled with being promoted so use this five star review as an excuse to do so, have a happy Thanksgiving summer and the rest of the “save alot” team you guys have really saved my butt"

"After a total reset and remodel, the upgraded store offers a better shopping experience along with affordable (and sometimes unbelievable) prices. Aimed at a lower-income population, the steaks are thinner and leaner than Winn Dixie's and appropriately cheaper. Watch for chicken prices, often way lower than the competition and just as good. The appealing produce department is now just inside the front door, where banana prices are always lower than other stores, along with always-cheap cilantro, affordable lettuce, cabbage, celery and other staples. Canned goods abound, and unlike Aldi, SAL brands are interspersed with brand names, as well. All SAL brands carry a money-back guarantee. Expect a great variety of Mexican foods. A large selection of frozen foods is appropriately positioned near the checkout, so your ice cream doesn't melt before you bag it yourself in bags you either bring or buy. Eggs, breads and chips, which easily can get crushed in carts, are likewise near the registers for top-loading. Bring a quarter with you, BTW, because SAL has adopted the clever Aldi model of returning your cart to get your quarter back."
