"Aqua Blue started servicing our pool three years ago as the service company used by the pool builder. We’ve generally been happy with their service. Some of their technicians were sloppy and one technician treated our salt pool as if it was a chlorine pool and really screwed up the chemical balance. But every time we had an issue they changed us back to our old tech. Today we found out from a cold call from another company that Aqua Blue was terminating our service because we were no longer in their service area. I kinda get it, but it’s like being dumped by a text from your girlfriend’s sister. It’s just not very professional. We were loyal customers even though we’ve had good reason to change companies due to past bad acts. To be treated this way is horrible customer service. If you are considering them, beware that their service can be spotty and they are not loyal to their long term customers."
"We use them for our pool maintenance. They do a good job and are easy to work with. If there's any disagreement they are polite and accommodating rather than defensive and rude.... and that is greatly appreciated and rare these days."
"This is going to be long. I called this company based on a referral from a local pool supply who has them install pool heaters. The conversations were great with the front of the house people and I scheduled them to come out and install gas piping to a natural gas heater as I planned on doing the plumbing and electrical myself. They also install plumbing and electrical and the front office mentioned they can do that for a small additional charge which was acceptable, and meant I didn't have to do it, so we added that as well. When the installer showed up, he hooked up the plumbing and electrical but mentioned that they didn't install gas lines, they only connected them to existing lines. Having spoken with the front of the office folks at least four times during scheduling, when I was simultaneously purchasing the heater, I knew for a fact that they knew there were aware no heater was currently installed, let alone that no piping existed. At this point, I now have an installed heater, in a location that was a good bit farther from the gas riser, but no gas hooked up, and I have a bill for almost $400. I called the office and spoke with the manager who appreciated the frustration that I would now be paying two bills; one for work I didn't need had I known they didn't install gas lines, and another bill for a gas plumber which was almost $1,800 to dig a trench to where the heater was installed as it was so far away from the riser. The office manager offered to have the tech come back out and move the heater to the original place I wanted it, near the gas riser, for a lower price than the invoice, which I was fine paying, because work was done and I felt they should be compensated, regardless of the circumstances. Fast forward to the work being completed, and it's good work I might add, and I call the front office to pay. The front office personnel, after speaking to the owner, say the bill is higher than what the office manager quoted me. When a company makes a mistake and then finds a solution, the company shouldn't backtrack on that agreement, which is exactly what they did. The office manager did what he should have done, which is try to make the bad situation right, and I was happy with the outcome. Now, I'm back in the original place I was the first day, and thoroughly upset. I paid the higher price to be done with the situation however I wouldn't do business with them again. The installer does good work, and for that, I gave them three stars, however backtracking on an agreement your office manager made with a customer who was already unsatisfied because you didn't do the job you were hired to do, is completely unacceptable."
"Used them to install a new motor for my pool pump and replace some seals. Noah was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and had the work done in the time it took me to pick up breakfast from a nearby gas station. The front office (or whoever picks up the phone) was extremely friendly and the communication and responsiveness was top notch. Will use again for other pool related work!"
