"Update: This is not mistaken feedback, I did get the pedicure at Avalon. If you check the records, you will find that I went twice within the same week, first I got the pedicure (Mike knew I hated it and he discounted the price) and second I got the manicure. I would never lie to damage a business’ reputation. This is honest feedback. I've been a client of Avalon for two years now. While I've experienced both decent and horrible services, I must admit that not even half of the entire crew does a really good job. Unfortunately, my recent appointments have consistently been bad experiences, from waiting over 40 minutes for a pre-scheduled nail appointment to receiving the most awful-looking manicure and pedicure. During my last appointment on Thursday, 11/16, I had a dip powder manicure, and my nails look like I made them with playdough. I even asked the technician to make my nails less thick, but she hesitated, stating that thinning them might cause the acrylic to crack. As someone who has had dip powder nails for years, I know what a good job looks like. Additionally, my nails are uneven and roughly finished. As for my toenails, I won't even bother to explain what happened – just take a look at the pictures and cry with me. Regrettably, I won't ever come back."

"I had gotten my nails done the day before I left for vacation. I got dip nails with tip. Second day already tons of cracks in all the nails. Middle of second day my tip for my thumb cracks off. And then the third day both my pointer fingers chipped half off. My younger sister also had gotten her nails done here and hers all cracked off at the top. I’ve never had such a horrible application on my nails at any other nail salon. This will be the last time I try out a new salon away from my original. If i could rate a 0 I would."

"We recently moved to Florida and this was the first salon we tried. We have been 4x and mostly a pleasant experience. This last time however. The nail tech was removing the gel polish from my toes and seemed to be in quite the hurry. My toes have several cuts on them. I wanted to throw up while she was putting the new polish on it hurt so bad. This morning, the day after the appointment the heel on my left foot, hurt pretty bad. Seems she got pretty aggressive with the cheese grader. I reached out to the salon, they Said they would not issue a refund but would give me a gift card. I told them, I hadn't planned on returning but if this was their solution how were the going to ensure I didn't have the same tech and that this wouldn't happen again. I stopped getting responses after this. We will not be returning to this salon."

"My 12 year old daughter went for a acrylic full set, almond shaped with gel polish for back to school. This is a $60+ set of nails that look like trash. Nails are not uniform, acrylic is bumpy and the polish application is poorly done. We will not be returning."

"Absolutely love their service for nails. I live 28 miles away from them, if and when I have a chance almost every month I go back to them to get a different set done. The first time I went to get my nails done was almost 3 years ago. These blue marble almond shaped nails are from my most recent visit for my birthday. The stiletto shaped ones are from the year prior. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience from them. The staff are very welcoming too."
