"I absolutely love this place! Every time I go I ask for Kenny. He is so detailed, always checks in and makes sure I am comfortable, always asking if I need a drink, does an outstanding service every time. I am never disappointed by him! Everyone needs Kenny for a nail tech. Amazing work. The environment is so clean and quiet, the lights are a bit dim, never too hot or too cold. Very welcoming. Their pricing is beyond reasonable. I love Maximum Nails Day Spa!"
"I had been going to Maxim Nails for several years and had been overall pleased with the service I received. However, over the course of the year, I noticed the price getting more and more expensive and the quality being “good enough” each time. The last time went was on October 6, 2023. I went there to get my nails done for my engagement shoot which was on October 7th. I showed the nail tech (Sol) a photo of what I’d wanted for reference. And after sitting in the chair for nearly 2.5 hours and spending $130 + tip for my manicure and pedicure, the finished product (other than the nail shape - which I asked for it to be almond shape), looked nothing like the nails in the photo I’d shown her. Unfortunately at the time, I was in a rush and needed to pick someone up from the airport, so I couldn’t stick around to have them fix it that same day. So I went in the following day and the same nail tech helped me again. After showing other nail techs what I wanted vs what I got, they’d laughed. The nail tech who was fixing my nails was ultimatey shown by the other nail techs what went wrong and how to fix it. After leaving on the 7th, I was happy with how the nails came out and thought that was the end of it! However, only FOUR days later, my tips started to pop off with hardly any effort! Mind you, these should last 2-3 weeks before they even get close to coming off. After spending $130 + tip for the manicure and pedicure, I would not expect any of these issues and was seriously disappointed in the whole experience. I have not returned to get my nails done here since then, nor do I plan to any time soon."
"Initially I had a great experience as a walk in. It was time for me to get my nails done on vacation and I thought I’d give them a shot since I was in the area. I got my nails done, I did tips with dip powder and a design. I was BEYOND happy with how they turned out. However, ONE WEEK LATER, 6 of my nails have come off, and not like broke off, they fully popped off, clean off. I added before (when I got them done) and what one of my hands looks like a week later. For the price I paid, it’s not worth it."
"Mary was phenomenal. I had a gel deluxe pedicure and dip powder with tips on my nails. For both the manicure and pedicure services, she paid attention to detail and helped me with a minor ingrown toenail. If you have any issues with overgrown toenails, see Mary! She also took the time on each nail to get the shape and length. I was impressed with her attention to detail on both my hands and feet. I’m pleased with my service as it is what I asked for, which was a simple, natural look."
"I tried this nail place once just to try it out and would not come back or recommend. My acrylic set came off within one week of getting them done. Just after 2 days one popped off them eventually the rest. I’ve never had that happen EVER. Additionally from them coming off so quick, the nail tech had the polish stuck to my skin at my cuticle and left it like that. Granted they were nice people but I don’t think that makes up for everything. Unfortunately I can not go back since I live in New York and was just in Orlando for the weekend but would not recommend! It’s crazy how the prices are high but the quality is horrible. I originally wanted designs but was going to be charged 100+ and thank god I listened to my gut and didn’t get it. I get if you’re charging a good amount for good quality but that’s not the case here. Highly disappointed."
