"I wished I enjoyed it. Betty was very sweet, but she didn’t seem to know what she was doing. I asked for basic cut off of 3 inches and then to get long layers, very simple. She cut off the inches but then started to use thinning shears and just hacked away at my hair rather than making layers. When she had me look at them, I was like “I can’t see the layers” and she tried showing me them but her ‘layers’ were just pieces of hair slightly shorter than the rest, but they completely blended in with the rest of them. I tried having her fix them and she only made a really harsh level from one to the rest of the length. I then tried having her make it more subtle, more hacking away at my hair, and it was so uneven. I ended up just saying it was fine and paying and leaving because I was worried if I kept trying to have her ‘fix it’, I’d just loose more and more hair when I wanted to keep my length. Also to mention she was cutting my hair DRY the whole time, I could feel the tugs on it, and the shaver she used was not right for my hair type. My hair needs to be wet to get the textures of it all even, as is very indecisive whether it wants to be straight or wavy. Probably the worst hair cut I have ever received, now I am going to a friend’s friend to fix it because in her words “it’s the worst job I have seen in many years.”"
