"Appointments went seemingly okay for 2 months until I received notice from my tenants that the pool was turning green only 2 days after the last maintenance appointment. HQA tried twice afterward to get the pool clean and failed. They said we now have black algae and they need us to pay for stronger chemicals. They were unable to maintain it appropriately to avoid this situation and blamed our freshly cleaned filter not being new when they started. They had the opportunity to check our filter every visit and it was never an issue, until now. Instead of covering the chemical charge and moving forward they suggested we find another pool company. That was the best advice they ever gave me. Justin Pool Service came the same day and instantly fixed the algae problem and inspected the filter and element, which was really clean and had no issues. My tenants also reported that when they watch the HQA pool cleaner on camera, they are on the phone the whole time, they don't ever scrub the sides, they just empty the basket abd dump chemicals.
