"Great staff and fair prices bur items are mostly outdated. I wish they have more modern stuff"
"Manager is rude as dirt. Purchased a set of two chairs from sunrise homegoods but returned after two days WITH RECEIPT because this location is closer to me. Dumb sales associate claims there is a stain on one of them… I don’t think so and even if it was, I bought it like that and never noticed, they were never used. I was returning because they did not fit in my space. Manager claims I can’t return it if it is stained because it needed to be marked down from the other Homegoods. Sorry no one can see the stain but your sale’s associate and even if it was stained, $150 for a retail $500+ chair is fine with me. I am no cheapskate. I even offered to take a store credit even though I have receipt and am eligible for return back to my card and was told it is the discretion of the manager. Remind you half the furniture in that place is damaged and without clearance prices. I don’t know if the associate was looking for a xmas/new year bonus by pointing something out on the chair to the manager but real stupid. This is Homegoods, a store with thousands of locations nationwide, not a lil small local shop. I am not going back to the Homegoods I bought it from just because your sales associate is colorblind and thinks a tan thread on the chair is a stain. Five days before this I also bought a whole dining room chair set. One chair did not have the tag on it and I asked another sales associate to put one on in case I need to return and she said “Don’t worry we won’t give you a hard time”… COULD HAVE FOOLED ME. Tags, receipt, and all and still get treated poorly for a basic return. Not to mention they have 2 people working on register days leading up to xmas and even the day after xmas, no wonder probably because no one wants to work for a manager like this."
"One of the worst home goods compared to the rest. I had worn a dress and one of the female employees who is African-American told me I look like I am from the streets. the manager profusely apologized, but clearly the employee was either drunk or high on something."
"This is my favorite Home Goods ! The store is packed with beautiful merchandise and the staff is very helpful. Martha helped me decide on patio cushions to bring out the royal blue in my condo. First, she found the price as none of them were marked up, and then she made sure in matched. Thank you Martha! They had a lovely selection of both indoor and outdoor rugs as well as art work and furniture. Delightful shopping experience"
"Unbelievable lines, even for HomeGoods! 5 cashier lanes open. Only 2 cashiers working...the other cashiers were not at register for atleast 25 minutes. I waited 40 minutes. Several customers requested manager up front to see this nightmare. We were told the manager was new and trying to get stock on the floor and told not to bother them...there were so many employees on the floor that when I asked at least why the manager didn't send cashiers up, she said that they were busy putting stock out.. fyi. The manager never made an appearance the entire time I was in line and after numerous requests by me and others in line.. I felt sorry for the cashiers as they were being ripped apart by every customer. So... corporate, wake up and hire responsible people in field management. Corporate training, and store management. Make customer service a priotity. As an interior designer who shops you stores frequently, I'll go else where till you get it together..."
