"I went for layered haircut and ombre hair color. I got a nice haircut but really bad ombre. The lady I went to didn't know how to do ombre(she could have said something). Instead, she "experimented" on me. The owner seemed to know how to do it but he was busy with another client. Anyways, I will not be going back anytime soon."

"I recieved a groupon from a rep. that came into my job offering services for the salon. I was very excited about using it because it was good deal. When i made my appt. I specified that I was africian americian just so that the stylist would no how to work with my hair texture. I explained what kind of style I was looking to get and even showed a picture of me with the same style in the past. The products that were used worked aganist my hair and even the rollers that were used worked aganist my hair. Once the style was completed I can tell the stylist new i was not happy because she said to me, ''Next time I'll use different rollers on your hair because theses didn't work out to well'' even after I told her I've never used thoses type of rollers on my hair. It was so bad that I ended up going to another salon to get it redone. I was very disappointed. I feel that If she was not comfortable working with my hair type she should have said something. I went in for a second appointment for a facial to see if my experience would change and I haven't been back since. Such a waste of my money."

"Ok - I was a beauty "gypsy"...I would float from salon to salon because I never could find a stylist that I liked and felt comfortable with. I was told to get my hair done by the owner Lucy at Salon Paz by a friend who has gone to her for 10+ years. At first, I was nervous because there are two bad reviews. Let me tell you, those bad reviews are NOT the norm, and/or could be made up by competition. I had to come in for a color correction because my hair was all different colors from a bad at home hair dye. Lucy worked magic on my hair. My hair went from dull pinkish -orangish-rust to vibrant, shiny,rich browns with blonde highlights. The haircut and color was probably the best I have ever gotten! During the hours of labor she worked on my hair she remained happy and cheery and she was so easy to talk to I basically gave her my life story! The other women who work here are all very sweet as well, and everyone I saw leave in the 4 hours I was there looked 10x better than they did walking in. I recommend this salon to anyone who wants fair pricing for high quality and very nice people. I will be going to Salon Paz for now on...after over 7 years of trying to find a new hair stylist after mine retired I finally found Lucy!"

"This salon wrongfully and illegally charged my credit card $140 and stored my card number/info without permission! I have only been to this salon to use a groupon and paid the tip and shellac upgrade on my card for $18 total. Beware as they store card numbers in the computer without informing you and All employees have access to make charges to it.They had absolutely no explanation and were very unapologetic and shady (whispering and running to the back)! I had received services from the same individual each time i went this charge conveniently happened on the day of her birthday hmmmmmm......also 3 days before Christmas leaving me with 140 dollars less Christmas shopping money. They did a reversal and I still don't have the money 3 days later. It's safe to say I will not be going back there regardless of whether I still have groupon to use. I do not recommend this place what so ever!"
